Guests staying 7+ nights receive a discounted weekly rate, and stays of 28+ nights qualify for our extended-stay monthly rate. Discounts will be automatically calculated at check out. Is this home accessible for someone with limited mobility? There are no steps to enter the home and no stairs inside. The bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen are all on one level. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower, not a step-in shower. The bathroom is very cozy however. Please message us if you'd like specific doorway or turning-space measurements — we're happy to check. How far is this property from Mayo Clinic? One mile from Mayo Clinic's downtown campus and two miles from Saint Marys. Both are a 20-minute walk or a short drive, and the bus route on 11th Avenue reaches Saint Marys in about 20 minutes. Is the yard fenced? The backyard is large and private but not fully fenced. Guests who need a fully fenced yard should ask us about our other Rochester homes. Are pets allowed? Dogs are welcome with a pet fee per stay. No cats, please. Dogs must be crated when not supervised. If your dog is not able to be contained, please reach out to us for alternate options. Please clean up after them indoors and out. Is there air conditioning? Yes — a window air conditioning unit in the bedroom. The home also has baseboard heat for the winter months. Can we use the loft for sleeping? The loft is a lovely bonus space for storage, but per Rochester rental guidelines it is not a legal sleeping area. This home sleeps two and has a queen bed. What's included in the home? Fully stocked with towels, bed linens, toiletries, washer and dryer, and a full kitchen, ready from the moment you arrive. How do I check in? Northeast Rochester is a quiet residential neighborhood of long-time Rochester families. Quarry Hill Nature Center, Silver Lake Park, and the city bike and walking trail system are all close by. Mayo Civic Center, Soldiers Field Golf Course, downtown restaurants, and shopping are about a mile away. Free off-street parking in the gravel driveway. Bus routes pick up along 11th Avenue. Uber and Lyft are readily available, and e-scooters and e-bikes are around the city seasonally. This is an older home — built in 1900 and recently updated, so it has a few charming quirks.
